Health And Beauty Care By The Moon Phases
With the Moontime Diary 2012
Our health depends largely on how we take care of our physical body. Nutrition, exercise and hygiene are vital to our health and self-esteem. By learning about and employing simple principles we can increase our well-being with less effort and better results.
While the moon wanes your body is primarily in letting go mode. Those two weeks are very good for fasting, as you take advantage of the detoxifying mode your body is in.
While the moon is waxing your body is primarily in absorption mode. Those two weeks are a particular good time to eat fresh organic food rich in nutrients. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can be balanced more effectively now.
You also absorb toxins, stimulants and fattening foods more easily. If you suffer headaches or migraines avoid stimulants like caffeine, nicotine, red wine, cheese and chocolate while the moon is waxing or full, particularly while the moon moves through Pisces and Aries.
You can apply these principles to:
Cosmetics and hair care:
• Nourishing and moisturising while the moon is waxing
• Deep cleansing and rejuvenating while the moon is waning
Massage:
• Relaxing and lymphatic drainage massages are best when the moon is waning in a water sign, particularly Pisces.
• Reflex and invigorating massages are most effective when the moon is waxing, particularly Gemini for the shoulders, Leo for back.
Exercise:
• Invigorating and building up exercises when the moon waxes
• To drop kilos and to detox, exercise when the moon is waning
Nutrition:
• Nourish and build up your body when the moon is waxing
• Help your body to detox when the moon is waning
Meditation:
• You are in a more reflective and letting go mode when the moon is waning or new
• You absorb and expand when the moon is waxing
It is all about timing your activities. Surely you have found that sometimes routine jobs turn out better than at other times? Or maybe you have noticed that the lawn at certain times grows back faster than at other times? We know that fishermen always go out with the tide instead of struggling against it.
Yes, there is method in the madness, which is where the moon comes in. All growing things are influenced by the ever changing moon.
Praise For The Moontime Diary 2012:
It is thanks to your Moontime Diary that I was able to keep inspired doing the chores of everyday, which is the way of the homemaker. I’ve got a great veggie patch now, much to my surprise and delight that flourishes and keeps my two children impressed. Many thanks again!? My mother is from Germany and mentioned these wisdom years ago but I would not bother. I could never quite believe her but now I know it works! I rave to others now!!!? Greetings Zoe Scott
I have a copy of the Moontime Diary myself and can tell you how good it is. Printed on 100% recycled paper with a soft-bound, smart dark blue cover, it’s packed with information about how to fine tune your life to the cycles of the moon and tread lightly on the planet.?Want to know when to cut your hair to slow regrowth or encourage curls?? When to plant those seedlings, harvest those vegetables or begin that creative project? The information is all in here in a very accessible, easy-to-follow format.?The Moontime Diary also has a monthly ephemeris, for those who like to track planetary positions.? Stella Woods BA Hons, QAFAA APA Astrologer & Tarot Consultant?
Thanks for the Moontime Diary 2009, which you sent me a little while back. I really like the changes you’ve made. I bought your diary for the first time last year, after having used Steve Jolley’s for over a decade. Although I miss him, you made the transition relatively painless.?I like how you’ve included the moon’s aspects for each day, daily positions for Chiron and the outer planets, and the large moon-phase graphics. I used to earn a living doing astrology fulltime and I still think in planetary cycles so, from my point of view, the more detail I can read off my diary by the phone without having to reach for my ephemeris, the better.?Thanks for a user-friendly product.? The MOONTIME DIARY is a delightful and practical astrological diary, now in its second edition. It is compact and loaded with information. There is still ample space allocated for each day, making this a practical diary for daily use. Over the years I have used many astrological or Moon diaries and I would say that this is one of the best. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone….
